| Notes | In the early morning I was able to get a shot of this tapir on the road to Cerro Cabrera in the north-east of Paraguay. These animals can attain a body length of 2 metres and a body weight of about 220 kilogram, making them some of the largest and heaviest land mammals in South America. |
