Körper body
Form - einzeln, flach shape - solytary, flat
Höhe / Durchmesser - 20 (-30) mm hoch / 80 (-140)mm height / diameter - 20 (-30) mm in height / 80 (-140) mm
Epidermis - matt, blaugrau epidermis - dull, blue-grey
Rippen - flach, meist 8-12, senkrecht, im Bereich der Areolen und Höcker wellig, bei älteren Pflanzen scheinen die Rippen in Höcker aufgelöst ribs - flat, mostly 8 to 12, vertical, areoles and humps are wavy, ribs appear to be dissolved into humps with older plants
Wurzel - Pfahlwurzel 100 (-250) mm root - stake root 100 (-250) mm

Areolenform - oval areole shape - oval
Areolenabstand - 13-15 mm areole distance - 13-15 mm
Dornen - rund, später auch etwas flach, 7,5-13 mm lang, meist am Körper anliegend, rotbraun, manchmal zur Spitze hin heller werdend spines - round, a little bit flat later on, 7.5-13mm in length, mostly tight on the body, red-brown, sometimes brighter towards the top

Staubfaden - weiß bis lilarosa, die untersten 6 mm lang und meist heller als die oberen mit 9,5 mm Länge filaments - white to lilac and pink, the lowest specimen are about 6 mm in length and mostly brighter compared to the topmost specimen which are 9.5 mm in length
Staubbeutel - gelb, 1,5 mm lang anther - yellow, 1.5 mm in length
